VATA DOSHA Generally thin, lanky, with dry hands + hair + feet. When in balance, very joyous and enthusiastic. When faced with stress, VATA individuals respond with anxiety + worry + fear + scattered state. These individuals don't usually sweat much, but are drawn to high intensity movement. They are very quick to learn, and quick to forget. VATA prakriti individuals can be so creative, but also somewhat all over the place. They are fast at walking + talking, but seem to falter with daily routine. VATA types thrive on a diet of mostly cooked meals, with little to no raw foods, and warmer beverages over iced beverages.
KAPHA DOSHA Sturdy, stocky build and are prone to be overweight. Generally very loving + faithful + compassionate characters. These folks are the thoughtful, but laid-back-jacks of the world and tend to thrive on diets of any kind, raw or cooked. KAPHA types are slow learners, but never forget their knowledge. They stand strong in their immunity and it takes them a lot to fall sick. If they do get sick, it tends to be congestive-related or along the lines of a cold. In comparison to VATA, they easily maintain harmony and strength in their environment due to their consistent nature. Hot or sunny weather is NOT their jam!
PITTA DOSHA Generally strong, medium build and wonderful at concentrating and completing tasks. They are tepid listeners and are easily challenged + aggressive when they are out of balance. PITTA types generally have fair, freckly skin that burns easily. They don't handle long gaps between meals and are destined to develop aggravation if gone too long without food. They thrive on mostly cooked foods and little to no cleansing/fasting. Their digestion + ability to absorb nutrients is strong.
