Bombs. Bombs. Bombs. 

You're going to see a lot of  these in your future with The Sisters Almanac, that is, until I decide upon some reason as to why I should move against them. But they are absolutely delectable and make my soul happy, and helps me bring out my creative side early in the morning. My version of smoothie bowls, with choke high vibrational lacings. They are sweet, creamy, and go against nearly every "law" of Chinese medicine + Ayurveda, except the fact that they are laced with adaptogenic provisions. But, hey, its about yin + yang, right?  I live in the tropics, so my body temperature can get away with this......but my New York City girls, they may not crave this upon waking until about May of next year. 

Be a rule breaker with me, and feed your eyes not your booty for once. I practice proper food combining almost to the T eighty percent of the time so I can afford to mix fruit with nut butters.......and cacao butter.......and oil......

Texture is everything when it comes to bomb-making. Don't add too much liquid and definitely make sure you have all your toppings ready because the beauty will start to melt fast. 

pearl bomb with ginger snowballs + he shou wu bites: serves 1 

1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen papaya
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/4 cup avocado
1/4 cup nut milk
1/2 tsp pearl powder
1 tablespoon nut butter of choice
3 ginger snowballs 
2 he shou wu chocolates 
chia seeds
raw honey
more nut butter for drizzle

using your vitamix, or blender with a wand, combine frozen fruit + nut milk + avocado + pearl until a thick, frozen yogurt consistency is formed. 

spoon your tablespoon of peanut butter in the bottom of the jar. 

layer half the amount of bomb filling. add two snowballs. layer the rest of bomb filling. top with remaining snowball, he shou wu bites, chia seeds, and nut butter for topping.
